President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today been officially welcomed to Austria.
A ceremonial Guard of Honor was lined up for the Azerbaijani leader in front of the Hofburg Palace decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
Austrian President Heinz Fischer and his spouse Margit Fischer welcomed President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva.
The presidents inspected the Guard of Honor as an orchestra played the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Austria.
Austrian state and government officials were introduced to President Ilham Aliyev, while members of the Azerbaijani delegation to President Heinz Fischer.
The presidents and their spouses posed for photographs.
