Azeri oil market: results of week

From 28 November to 2 December URAL (EX-NOVO) average price, sold by Azerbaijan in Novorossiysk port, was $48.23 per barrel or dropped $1.01 barrel as compared to the last week (14-18 Nov), Trend reports.

URAL(EX-NOVO) maximal price comprised $49.78 on 2 December, or $0.15 barrels down as compared to last week (23 November), minimal one - $47.50 on 30 November, or $0.90 down as compared to last week (21 November).

Brent average price (DTD) was $53.67 per barrel (rose $0.16 per barrel). Brent maximal price comprised $55.15 on 2 December, or $1.11 per barrel up as compared to last week. Minimal price of Brent was $52.98 on 30 November, or $0.09 per barrel as compared to last week (21 November).

URAL (EX-NOVO) was cheaper than Brent by $5.44 per barrel last week, or $1.17 per barrel more than the average figure of last week.

In 2004 the SOCAR sold 2559,100 tons of oil from Novorossiyk, which is 77,100 tons more than 2003. Oil pumping tariffs via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline is $15.67 per ton.

In January to November the SOCAR shipped 1,545 million tons of Ural oil from the Novorossiyk port against 2,39 million tons in 2004. In November 2005 the shipment of Ural from the Novorossiyk port comprised 167,200 tons against 78,640 tons in October and 136,400 tons in November 2004.
