Oppositionist MP takes his MP certificate from Central Elections Commission

Jamil Hasanli, the vice-chairman of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP, reformers), took his MP certificate from the Central Elections Commission on Monday (27 February), the CEC told Trend. Taking such a step in the contrary of the resolution of the PFAP on refusal from the representation at Milli Majlis [parliament], Hasanli decided to participate in the parliamentary sittings.

Hasanali was elected to the parliament from the Narimanov- Nizami constituency commission 18.

The chairman of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan (PFAP), Ali Karimli said that the members of the party who wants to be represented at the parliament, or participate in the re-run elections cannot be further members of the parliament. They can participate in the parliamentary sitting and re-run elections in the individual form.
