Vladimir Putin, Russia President, calls up all public agencies and media sources operating in the country to joint counteraction with the reasons leading to xenobophia and nationalism. The Head of the Russian State has made the above-mentioned statement during the today annual press-conference for media sources, Trend Correspondent to Moscow reports.

That concerns everybody, both the authorities and the publicity, he said. I think that many reasons triggers it, and first of all it is linked with a certain embarrassment and ideological vacuum occurred after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and with the feeling of infringement of major national groups, said the President. The Head of the Russian State said that the authorities had not always adequately responded on such occurrences. However, if to speak about the real reasons, one of them is linked with the fact that the state frontiers became open despite of the disintegration of USSR, and the aboriginal population has not had advantages in comparison with labor migrants in the labor market, said Russian President. According to him, this issue, which should have been solved by the authorities long before by ensuring the interests of both foreigners and citizens of Russian Federation, harms everybody and lead to xenophoby and nationalism. Mr. Putin said that he hoped that public agencies and media sources would assist the authorities in eliminating difficulties in this sphere.
