Astana hosted the awarding ceremony for the competition among school children on the best creative works dedicated to the nuclear free world on the eve of the International forum for a nuclear weapon-free-world, UNDP in Kazakhstan said.

Astana hosted the awarding ceremony for the competition among school children on the best creative works dedicated to the nuclear free world on the eve of the International forum for a nuclear weapon-free-world, UNDP in Kazakhstan said.

Children across Kazakhstan submitted their creative works in the forms of pictures, essays and poems advocating for the world free of nuclear weapons.

Stephen Tull UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative, Kairat Omarov, Deputy Foreign Minister, Tomihisa Taye, Mayor of Nagasaki City and others attended the awarding ceremony.
