Europe plans to preserve rich cultural diversity

The EU intends to maintain and spread its rich cultural diversity in other regions, head of the Operations Section in the EU representative office in Baku Federico Berna said on Tuesday.
"Extending partnership in the sphere of culture is an important part of the Eastern Partnership," he said.
He stressed that the Eastern Partnership culture program has been implemented since 2010.
"The program supports long-term development in the region and expands its ties with Europe," he said.
Azerbaijan supports integration into Europe and implements joint projects within the Eastern Partnership, Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry official Vasif Eyvazzade said.
