Work is being carried out to assist the development of creative young people in Azerbaijan, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Intiqam Babayev told reporters at the second Republican Forum of creative youth launched in Baku on Monday.
"We aim to create a specific framework for the development of creative young people and will try to make sure that young people receive benefits for the use of creative workshops and studios.
Every creative person is interested in his work and creativity is to be recognised in the country and in the world. We are working towards this objective.
"Scientific works of young Azerbaijani scientists are being published and their participation at international conferences is being provided for several years," the deputy minister said.
According to him, hundreds of personal and group exhibitions of young artists and sculptors, festivals and competitions for young musicians have been held.
"This makes it possible not only to find talented young people, but also to acquaint them with the artwork of those in other countries," Babayev said.
