Azerbaijani female gymnasts Sviatlana Makshtarova and Sabina Zaitseva have reached the finals of synchronized events at the FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics in Baku.
The female gymnasts scored 81.700 points and took the fourth place as a result of compulsory and floor exercises.
Female representatives of Ukraine, Belarus, the US, Spain, Russia and Germany also reached the finals.
The FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics is being held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.
Athletes from Europe, Japan, Australia and the US are participating in the World Cup, which opens the first season of the Olympic competitions.
Overall, 77 gymnasts (46 men and 31 women), who represent 17 countries, are to participate in the competitions.
Following the first day of the qualification event, the competitions will complete by finals on March 6.
