The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan will issue an edict on establishing the Azerbaijan-Georgian inter-governmental working group on joint cooperation aimed at resolving the probelms of the Azerbaijanis residing in Georgia, the chairman of the State Committee on working with Azerbaijanis living abroad Nazim Ibragimov told Trend.
Ibragimov said the State Committee on resolving the problems of the fellow countrymen living in Georgia will prepare and submit two documents to the government of Azerbaijan: the action plan and a special program. According to him, the officials of about 20 state bodies and ministries will comprise the inter-governmental group. One of the lines of the working group will be implementation of the program and the action plan activities, prepared by the State Committee. The Georgian state bodies will be also represented in the group.
Ibragimov said, the State committee officials attended recently the resident places of the Azerbaijanis and held meetings with them. According to Ibragimov, the working group will make some proposals to the relevant Georgian bodies.
