The Azerbaijani male national volleyball team will hold the first qualification match of the selection tournament against Austria in the European championship in Baku from 13 to 14 May.
In accordance with the schedule of the Confederation of European Volleyball, the debut single combat will take place in the native land, the National Federation told Trend. In a week the team is in for a difficult game in Vena, where the winner will be determined on the results of the 2-round competitions.
It should be mentioned that earlier Austria proposed to hold the both matches in Vena, but the National Federation turned down the initiative. In any case, the calendar is in favor of the rival, which will have the first match in Azerbaijan.
