The first group of the Azerbaijani pilgrims will leave for Hadji on December 14, the Chief of the International Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslim Department (CMD) Haji Azad told Trend.
On December 14, two groups will leave for Hadji one with airplane and one by bus. The airplane will move through the route Baku-Jidde, and from there, the pilgrims will depart to Mecca by buses. The pilgrims, who chose the bus, will depart in Mercedes buses, via the route Iran-Turkey-Syria-Jordan-Saudi Arabia.
This year, 4,500 places have been allocated to Azerbaijan, and nearly 700 places to the private tourism companies having license to organize pilgrim tours.
