Azerbaijan's insurance company introduces new mobile product

Given the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic consequences on the global and country-wide economy and everyday life of people, Azerbaijan’s Ateshgah Life Insurance OJSC has developed a new insurance product to minimize financial losses of the country citizens, Trend reports referring to the company's website.

This product, called Anticoronavirus, is designed to compensate for the loss of income that may occur as a result of the COVID-19 infection spread in an environment with a high risk of infection. The Anticoronavirus insurance product is valid in the territory of Azerbaijan and intended for the persons willing to insure themselves against the consequences of the COVID-19 virus spread.

The insurance premium depends on the age of the insured person. For both of the below age groups, three types of insurance packages have been offered.

The insurance risks include:
- Infection with COVID-19 virus;
- Appearance of lung fibrosis in the insured person as a result of infection with the COVID-19 virus;
- The death of the insured person for any reason throughout the insurance period.

During the special quarantine regime, Anticoronavirus product can be accessed through WhatsApp, by calling (+994) 55 254 80 10, and the insurance premium can be paid online and via post-terminals.

Ateshgah Life is the first life insurance company in Azerbaijan.
