BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 21. Georgian agricultural producers intend to enter the Azerbaijani market, a member of the Association of Almond and Walnut Growers of Georgia, and the owner of the nut processing plant Lasha Jugeli told Trend at the Caspian Agro exhibition in Baku.
"We are participating in the Caspian Agro exhibition for the first time, and we just started making contacts with our potential business partners. We have a great desire to enter the Azerbaijani market," Jugeli said.
According to him, the Association has already received exciting proposals on the supplies.
"We have already agreed on meetings with our potential buyers from Azerbaijan for further discussions on the volume of supplies," Jugeli said.
Meanwhile, Head of Laboratory and Quality Manager of Georgian Yame, August Fruit Factory and Benjy's companies, producing alcoholic beverages, juices, jams and sauces, Ani Chutlashvili noted that the Caspian Agro agricultural exhibition, held in Baku, provides an opportunity to expand contacts with potential buyers from Azerbaijan and increase the volume of product deliveries.
"We intend to export about 200,000 bottles of brandy, and about 50,000 bottles of juice to Azerbaijan," Chutlashvili added.
