BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 22. A total of 43 companies with Kazakh capital was registered in Türkiye from January through May 2022, which was 25 more than in the same period of 2021, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
TOBB noted that total capital of registered Kazakh companies also increased along with their number during the reporting period.
"Total capital of Kazakh companies registered in Türkiye amounted to 8.8 million Turkish liras ($510,400) for the reporting period, and this figure was 3.9 million Turkish liras ($226,200) for the same period in 2021," TOBB added.
Major part of Kazakh companies (28) was registered in Istanbul from January through May 2022.
Total capital of Kazakh companies registered in Istanbul amounted to 2.9 million Turkish liras ($168,200).
TOBB also noted that five transport and logistics, 16 wholesale and retail, 6 construction trading companies with Kazakh capital were registered in Türkiye from January through May 2022.
The remaining companies are involved in other areas of Turkish economy.
TOBB added that 18 companies with Kazakh capital were registered in Türkiye in 2021.
Their total capital amounted to 3.9 million Turkish liras ($226,200).
The largest number of companies with Kazakh capital was registered in Istanbul In 2021.
