BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 2. The number of companies with Kazakh capital grew in Türkiye from January through September 2022, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) told TurkicWorld, Trend reports on November 2.
According to the TOBB, this figure amounted to 90, up by 48 companies on annual basis.
Despite the growth in the number of registered Kazakh companies, their total capital decreased in the first nine months of this year, the TOBB said.
“In the reporting period, the total capital of registered Kazakh companies in Türkiye amounted to 18.3 million Turkish liras ($980,000), while in the same period of 2021 this figure was 56.4 million Turkish liras ($3.03 million),” the TOBB noted.
Meanwhile, most of the Kazakh companies (63) with a total capital of 13.3 million Turkish liras ($710,000) were registered in Istanbul.
Out of the total number of Kazakh companies registered from January through September 2022, 42 companies were involved in wholesale and retail trade, seven - in export, and the remaining companies operated in other sectors of the Turkish economy, added the TOBB.
