BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 29. The number of companies with Kazakh capital grew in Türkiye from January through October 2022, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) told TurkicWorld, Trend reports on November 29.
According to the TOBB, this figure amounted to 105, up by 64 companies on annual basis.
Despite on growth in the number of registered Kazakh companies, their total capital decreased in the first 10 months of this year, the TOBB said.
In the reporting period, the total capital of registered Kazakh companies in Türkiye amounted to 34.3 million Turkish liras ($1.8 million) versus 57.5 million Turkish liras ($3.09 million) in the same period of 2021.
Meanwhile, most of the Kazakh companies (76) with a total capital of 29.1 million Turkish liras ($1.5 million) were registered in Istanbul.
Out of the total number of Kazakh companies registered from January through October 2022, 49 were involved in wholesale and retail trade, eight in construction, and the remaining companies operated in other sectors of the Turkish economy added TOBB.
