Azerbaijan announces amount of allocations on judiciary in 2024-2027

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 30. The amount of funds planned to be allocated to judiciary, law enforcement agencies and prosecutor's office in Azerbaijan in 2024-2027 has been named, Trend reports.

According to data from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance, it is intended to allocate 2.9 billion manat ($1.7 billion) for the court, law enforcement agencies, and the prosecutor's office in 2024 as part of Azerbaijan's mid-term budget for 2024-2027.

This sphere is expected to get 3.22 billion manat ($1.89 billion) in 2025, 3.25 billion manat ($1.91 billion) in 2026, and 3.31 billion manat ($1.94 billion) in 2027.

According to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 2469 dated February 2, 2021, the following five national priorities of the policy of socio-economic development of the country until 2030 are defined: a sustainable, growing competitive economy; a society based on dynamic, inclusive, and social justice; competitive human capital and space for modern innovations; a great return to liberated territories; a clean environment; and a country of "green growth".
