BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 15. The production of polyethylene amounted to 147,000 tons in Azerbaijan from January through November 2023, which is 24.6 percent more year-on-year, Trend reports.
The data of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan shows that the production of propylene amounted to 140,100 tons from January through November 2023, which is 18 percent higher year-on-year.

Azerbaijan produced 134,700 tons of propylene, 134,700 tons of polyethylene, 139,800 tons of ethylene, 194.7 tons of iodine, 5.5 million cubic meters of oxygen, 534,500 tons of methanol and 23.4 million cubic meters of nitrogen in 2022.
In general, Azerbaijan produced 146,400 tons of propylene, 164,700 tons of polyethylene, 168,400 tons of ethylene, 167.5 tons of iodine, 9.7 million cubic meters of oxygen, 378,200 tons of methanol and 22.5 million cubic meters of nitrogen in 2021.
