Non-state enterprises accounted for 90.1 percent of the total construction work performed in 2021 in Baku, which is 1.6 percent more than in 2020, the Baku Statistics Department of the State Statistics Committee told Trend.
At the same time, 67 percent of the work came at construction, reconstruction, and expansion (an increase of 1.9 percent over the year), 6.4 percent – at overhaul (an increase of 0.2 percent), 5.5 percent – at current repairs (a decrease by 0.4 percent), and 19.8 percent – at other construction works (reduction by 2.9 percent).
In 2020, non-state enterprises accounted for 88.5 percent of the total construction work in Baku. Construction, reconstruction, and expansion occurred in 65.2 percent, overhaul – 6.2 percent, current repairs – 5.9 percent of all works. Other construction works came at 22.7 percent of the total volume.
