Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 July/ corr. Trend A. Gafarov/ Some 320,000 to 330,000 tons of grain has been stored in the grain storage in 2008 as compared to the relevant period of last year, Ismat Abbasov, minister of agriculture of Azerbaijan said. The grain output will go up by 350,000 tons by the end of summer, he said.
According to minister, there are no problems in import and export of agricultural products in Azerbaijan. "I think, Azerbaijan will not face with problem in producing, manufacturing importing and exporting agricultural products this year," he said.
According to Abbasov, the unstable weather has a bad impact on the agriculture of the country. However, the grain output is expected to be more than that of previous year.
The increase in the output of agricultural products is due to the enlargement of sown areas, minister said.
