Prices of construction work rose by 1.3 percent in June compared to December 2008, the Kazakh Statistic agency told Trend .
Prices for construction and assembly rose by 1.1 percent, machinery and equipment by 1.2 percent, other work and expenses by 1.8 percent in June compared to December, the agency said.
According to the agency, prices of construction materials fell. Prices of materials bought by construction companies fell by 1 percent in June compared to December, 2008.
Prices of rods, scrids and steel shapes fell by 4.2 percent, silicate brick by 3.3 percent, gas and water pipes by 2.9, Portland cement by 2.1 percent, building panel and concrete bases by 0.7-0.8 percent. Prices of the central heating radiators made of ferrous metal rose by 5.2 percent, ceramic glazed blocks by 2.6 percent, wood doors and thresholds by 2 percent, ceramic brick by 0.9 percent, sand and gravel by 0.2 percent.
