The State Supervision Service on Consumer market at the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry removed over 400 kilogram of the expired products from retail sale points during the monitoring, the ministry said.

Monitoring carried out in the Binagadi, Sabail, Nizami and Khatai districts of Baku, as well as in the Ganja and Guba regions of Azerbaijan. The expired food products include sausages, confectionery products, vegetable oils, natural juices, beer, milk and milk products, mayonnaise, and more.

A total of 6.52 tons of forged cement was found and withdrawn in the Barda region.

Protocols on administrative violations have been complied on enterprises and individuals.

Generally, after the Azerbaijani president's decree on amendments and supplements to the Code of Administrative Violations, dated May 17, 47 enterprises have been fined worth 181,000 manats and 463 individuals - 691,000 manats.

Monitoring continues.

On Oct. 8, the official exchange rate is 0.8032 manat to $1.
