A business delegation headed by the Jordanian Industry and Trade Minister will visit Georgia on July 18-21.

The Georgian National Investment Agency told Trend that the Sheraton hotel in Batumi will host a Georgian-Jordanian forum sponsored by the Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry, the National Investment Agency, and the Government of Adjara.

Bilateral meetings will also be held under the forum, during which the Georgian businessmen will begin negotiations with potential partners across sectors.

Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Vera Kobalia will open the event.

The Jordanian delegation includes leaders of business associations, including three senators and businessmen who represent sectors such as home appliance, the chocolate industry, Dead Sea cosmetics, agriculture, furniture, mineral water, juices, etc.

The visit is aimed to introduce investment opportunities in Georgia.
