Emirates Airlines opens direct flights to Erbil, official website of the Kurdish administration of Iraq reported on Tuesday.
According to Senior Vice President of Emirates Airlines Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, opening of direct flights will strengthen the ties between the UAE and the Kurdish autonomy of Iraq.
Emirates Airlines cargo division SkyCargo started providing its services in the capital of Kurdish autonomy in February 2011. Flights are carried out three times a week.
