Azerbaijani State Customs Committee (SCC) transferred nearly 888 million manat to the state budget in January-August 2013 through collection of customs duties and taxes, according to a report from SCC posted on its website on Tuesday.
According to the report, income in August from customs duties amounted to 31.75 million manat, value-added tax of imported goods was 82.54 million manat, excise taxes - 7.89 million manat and road tax - 1.62 million manat.
A forecast of transfers through the SCC for 2013 was set at 1.38 billion manat.
The official exchange rate on September 10 is 0.7844 AZN/USD.
