On Thursday, the representatives of the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry met with members of Georgian Partnership Fund. The sides discussed business environment in the country.

Norwegian Innovation Foundation is interested in investing in Georgia. This first of all covers the areas of agriculture and tourism.

Executive Director of the Georgian Partnership Fund Irakli Kovzanadze said that the Fund plans to realize the projects, which are carried out by the Norwegian Innovation Foundation.

"Therefore, we think that the interest that has been expressed - this concerns gas and oil - gives us an opportunity to find common points of contact," he said.

In turn the head of the Norwegian Innovation Foundation said that, they see that the statistical data from Georgia in different spheres are more improving.

"Georgia has become an interesting country for investors. We present a fund that can invest in Georgia. Today's meeting convinced me that Georgia has made great progress," he said.
