Around 19,090 tons of cattle (live weight) worth $47.57 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in 2013, the Georgian National Statistical Service said today.
The share of this category in the total volume of Georgian exports to Azerbaijan for the reporting period amounted to 6.7 percent, according to the report.
The volume of exports of cattle from Georgia increased by 21.26 percent and in quantitative terms by 6,110 tons compared to 2012. For comparison: 12,980 tons of cattle (live weight) worth $39.23 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in 2012.
Goods worth $710.21 million, or 24.4 percent of a total volume of the country's exports were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in 2013. Exports to Azerbaijan increased by 13.3 percent compared to 2012. For comparison Azerbaijan exported Georgian goods worth $ 626.85 million in 2012.
