GDP growth rate hit 2.5 percent in Kazakhstan in January-February 2015, compared to the same period of 2014, Kazakh Statistics Committee under National Economy ministry reported on March 10.
Industrial production has increased by 0.4 percent in January-February, including a 0.9-percent increase in mining industry and a 0.3-percent increase in manufacturing industry.
Production in agricultural sphere increased by 2.4 percent, in construction sphere - by 1.5 percent, trade - 3.2 percent, transport - 6.9 percent, communication - 9 percent.
Inflation since the beginning of the year hit 1 percent, while in 2014 it stood at 7.4 percent.
