Azerbaijan imported 437 vehicles in January 2016 compared to 4,090 vehicles in the same period of 2015, the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee said in its statistics report Feb. 18.
The report said that 401 cars and motor vehicles of the total number of vehicles were imported to the country in January 2016.
Azerbaijan imported 3,870 cars and motor vehicles in January 2015.
Moreover, Azerbaijan imported 26 trucks in January (146 trucks as of January 2015). The remaining part of the import accounted for other types of vehicles.
The country imported 26,785 vehicles in 2015 compared to 63,368 vehicles imported in 2014.
