The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) has increased by 118 points or 0.15 percent on Aug. 21, to end Sunday trade at 78,086.
According to the TSE official website, 756 million shares valued at about $79.85 million (2.5 trillion rials based on official rate of 31,069 rials per USD) were traded at 63,519 transactions.
The National Iranian Copper Industries Co., Ghadir Investment Company and Pension Fund Investment Co had the biggest positive effect on the TSE index.
Meanwhile, Omid Investment Group Cooperation, Pasargad Bank and Chadormalu Mining & Industrial Co were among the companies that imposed the highest negative effect on the index.
