Germany’s DHL enters Azerbaijani market

Germany’s logistics company DHL has opened its office in Azerbaijan.
The office, DHL Global Forwarding Azerbaijan, was registered according to the “single window” principle of Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes June 2016, the ministry’s ‘Vergiler’ newspaper said Oct. 26.
The company’s authorized capital is 100 manats. Turkish citizen Inanc Behcet Kerem is the company’s official representative.
Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and DHL agreed to establish a major logistics hub in Azerbaijan in May 2016. The hub will concentrate goods coming from China and subsequently transport them to Turkey, Europe, Russia and other countries.
