Real monetary income of Kazakh population decreases

The real monetary income of the population of Kazakhstan decreased by 2.5 percent as of August 2017 compared to the same period in 2016, the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said in a message.

At the same time, the average per capita nominal monetary income of the population amounted to 79,469 tenges in August 2017, which is 4.3 percent higher compared to the same period of 2016, according to the ministry’s estimations.

The index of consumer price increased to 104.2 percent as of September 2017, compared to the same period of the previous year.

Prices for food products increased by 3.1 percent, prices for non-food products increased by 5.5 percent.
