Turkey to spend over 3B liras on transport projects (Exclusive)

In 2019, Turkey will spend 3.5 billion Turkish liras on transportation projects, in particular on the construction of high-speed railways, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey said in a message on Oct. 31.

In 2019, new projects will be implemented, as well as railway projects will continue, the construction of which began earlier.

"All projects in 2019 will be implemented as part of the government plan Goal 2023," the ministry said.

Previously, it was reported that investments worth 10.8 billion Turkish liras will be put in the development of railway infrastructure of Turkey in 2018.

Presently, work is underway to implement 50 transport and communication projects in Turkey.
