Earthwork, related to the construction of a highway, as part of a road project being implemented by the Azerbaijani company AzVIRT has begun in Kyrgyzstan, a source at the company told Trend.
The source noted that the construction of the highway, which is worth over 60 million euros, will begin soon.
"To date, all the necessary machinery and equipment, including the drainage system, as well as all the necessary building materials have been completely delivered to Kyrgyzstan, and all preparatory work has been completed," the source said.
The source noted that German specialists are also involved in the project in order to apply foreign experience in implementing the large-scale road project.
AzVIRT is one of the well-known road construction contractors in Azerbaijan and is engaged in the construction of roads, runways, airports.
In addition to the construction and design of roads and large objects, the company is engaged in the production of building materials, including asphalt concrete mixtures, fractional rubble, activated mineral powder.
