Buses of Iranian-Azerbaijani production are provided for both the local market and exports, Chairman of the Board of AzerMash OJSC Emin Akhundov said, Trend reports April 19.
He said that the buses will carry more than 41 passengers.
He added that Peugeot cars produced in Azerbaijan’s Neftchala district are already on sale.
“So far, more than 100 cars have been sold,” he said.
Akhundov added that the plant, the foundation of which was laid, is a new project of AzerMash OJSC.
AzerMash OJSC and Iranian trailer manufacturing company Maral signed a distribution contract that provides for the sale of trailers for high-capacity vehicles in Azerbaijan.
Then construction of a new plant for the production of trailers is expected in Azerbaijan.
