Azerbaijan’s METAK company plans to export its products to Uzbekistan and Belarus in the near future, Executive Director Aydin Karimov told Trend on May 6.
Karimov noted that the share of exports in the company's profits increased, mainly at the expense of agricultural exports to Russia.
"In the Russian market, our fruits are already quite well known under the brand "Langu", especially apples, share of which prevails in our exports," he said.
The director also noted that accurate calculations on export figures will be available at the end of the year.
"However, there has already been a sharp increase in exports of our products in connection with orders from neighboring Georgia, as well as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan," Karimov said.
METAK was established in 1997.
