Some Turkish cities to have special industrial zones

Turkish president has signed an order to create special industrial zones in Istanbul, Bursa, Mardin and Balikesir cities, as well as in Izmir province, Trend reports citing Resmi Gazete.

Reportedly, after the repeated elections to be held in Istanbul June 23, those industrial zones will get investments worth $1.2 billion.

Earlier in 2018, the territory where Star Refinery of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR is located, was named a special industrial zone in accordance with Turkish president’s order.
