Company Orelay, Azerbaijani confectionery manufacturer, plans to expand the export geography of its products, a source in the company told Trend.

The company plans to supply confectionery products to the Central Asian market, according to the source.

“We are studying the market of this region in order to enter the markets of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan,” the source noted. “We have received offers related to export to this market, and in the near future we plan to start negotiations with partners. According to our calculations initial deliveries may not be large and will be approximately in the amount of one ton.”

The source added that since the beginning of the year, the company has exported four tons of confectionery products to Georgia.

“Our main export accounts for the Georgian market, and by the end of this year we plan to continue the supply of local confectionery products to the neighboring country,” the source said.

The products manufactured by Orelay have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.

The company uses German, Turkish and Austrian equipment.
