Manufacturing volume in agriculture sector increases in Kazakhstan

The volume of manufacturing in agriculture sector of Kazakhstan increased by 3.7 percent, said Ruslan Dalenov, the Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, Trend reports referring to press office of the ministry.

According to him, the growth is achieved due to the increase in animal husbandry (+3.6 percent) and in crop production (+8.1 percent).

“In May 2019, the growth of country’s GDP amounted to four percent, while the inflation level amounted to annual 5.3 percent,” the minister said.

“Investments into industry increased by 17.5 percent. Compared to the previous month, the foreign exchange reserves of the country increased by 0.4 percent and their volume equaled to $86.7 billion,” he said.

“The industrial manufacturing increased by two percent in five months of 2019. At the same time, the oil extraction decreased by 3.2 percent. The increase in processing industry amounted to 3.6 percent, which compensated for the decrease in oil extraction,” Dalenov said.

Furthermore, the increase in construction sphere equaled to 8.8 percent in five months.
