Executive Director of the JSC Partnership Fund (PF) of Georgia David Saganelidze accepted the official delegation of the China's Export and Credit Insurance Corporation Sinosure, Trend reports citing commersant.ge.
The delegation was headed by Lia Tu Feng, Director General of Sinosure Product Management.
Within the visit to Georgia the delegation met the management of JSC Partnership Fund. Sinosure noted the importance of JSC Partnership Fund as the best platform for cooperation with Georgia.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of joint projects and financing models.
At the meeting was noted that Georgia was the first country with which the China signed a free trade agreement contributing to the strengthening of bilateral dialogue.
At the meeting, the parties also stressed the role of Georgia in the Silk Road project. The Chinese side regards Georgia as a mutually beneficial corridor connecting Europe and Asia. In turn, Georgia offers favorable conditions for doing business with a free trade regime and a favorable tax system.
Sinosure insures China’s foreign trade and investment. A memorandum of cooperation between JSC Partnership Fund and Sinosure was signed in Beijing in 2017. The memorandum provides for the development of mechanisms for joint financing of various investment projects, including the exchange of information and experience.
