By the end of the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2019), Iran will hand over nine semi-heavy ships to the border troops stationed in Iran's northern and southern maritime regions, including the Caspian Sea, said Iranian Border Guard Commander Brigadier General Qasem Rezaei, Trend reports referring to the website of the Law Enforcement Force of Iran.
According to Rezaei, the ships will also be handed over to the border troops of Iran’s Golestan Province.
Rezaei added that meetings between the border troops of Iran and Turkmenistan should be held in order to develop relations between the two countries.
