By Matanat Nasibova – Trend:

Azerbaijan’s Lankaran Canning Factory, a producer of a wide range of fruit juices and compotes operating in the Azerbaijani Lankaran district, intends to increase the production volume, manager of the factory Famil Abbasov told Trend.

“Presently, the factory produces up to 40,000-45,000 bottles of compotes daily,” he said. "We intend to bring this figure up to over 50,000 bottles daily.”

Abbasov added: “The main goal is to increase the export potential of the factory. We received offers related to the export of goods to Dubai. We intend to export the goods to this market by late 2019."

He stressed that the retail price of compotes ranges 1.40 -1.80 manats within the country. "As for export, the wholesale prices for our products are reasonable, they are low as foreign customers fully cover all transport and customs costs," Abbasov said.

The products of the factory have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents.

The Italian equipment is used at the factory.
