Georgian House to open in capital of Belarus

Georgian Natural Products Company, founded by the JSC Partnership Fund (PF) of Georgia, opens “Georgian House” in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, Trend reports citing commersant.ge.

The goal of the initiative is to increase the export of natural products from Georgia and deepen trade and economic relations between the two countries.

The Georgian House has several areas, including exhibition areas, a Georgian restaurant, a wine cellar, a bakery, and a VIP room for business meetings. Each of them seeks to represent Georgian traditions, history and culture. Ti this end, traditional jugs and clay vessels have been sent from Georgia to Minsk. The Georgian restaurant, the wine cellar and the bakery will allow the visitors not only to taste, but also to purchase Georgian products.

A wide range of Georgian products will be presented in the Georgian house including cheese chechil, chili peppers, honey, tea, natural chips, Georgian handicrafts and other goods related to Georgian culture.

For the opening ceremony of the “Georgian House”, Georgian wines accredited by the Georgian National Wine Agency will be shipped from Belarus to Georgia.

The Georgian House will be officially opened at the end of August 2019 and attended by representatives of the government and business circles of Georgia. Furthermore, Georgian entrepreneurs will be able to present their products at the opening ceremony of the “Georgian House” in Minsk.
