Azerbaijan’s Atena company eyes to expand export geography of dairy products

Azerbaijan’s dairy producer, Atena company, aims to expand the export geography of its products, Marketing Manager of the company Orkhan Aliyev told Trend.
He said that the company plans to establish export supplies to Europe.
“This is a new export direction that we are currently working on,” he noted. “We envisage export to Eastern European countries, in particular to Serbia. Negotiations are underway. Export is planned for this market at the beginning of next year. At the same time, small deliveries to the Arab countries and Kazakhstan are expected this year.”
He added that since the beginning of the year, the company has headed for an increase in production capacity, and will increase the volumes up to 20 percent.
“We plan to enhance the volume of dairy products by increasing the volume of milk purchases from farms,” he said. “At the moment, up to six tons of milk are processed at the plant daily, and we plan to increase this figure to 10-12 tons by the end of this year.”
He noted that in the near future, the company plans to send product samples to potential sales markets.
The production plant of Atena company is located in Aghjabadi district. The company has its own farm and a land plot.
