The number of newly registered enterprises in Georgia increased by 0.5 percent in July 2019 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports referring to the Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).
According to the statistics, the number of newly registered enterprises in July amounted to 4,152 units.
At the same time, the turnover of all enterprises paying VAT amounted to 7.32 billion lari. VAT turnover increased by 16.7 percent compared to the same month last year, Geostat said.
The number of registered enterprises amounted to 722 units in 2018, 679 units in 2017, 634 units in 2016, and 596 units in 2015.
