Cooperatives in Iran’s Razavi Khorasan Province export products worth $180M

Over the past year (August 2018 - August 2019), cooperative companies in Iran’s Razavi Khorasan Province have exported products worth $180 million to various Asian and European countries, said Esmail Soltankhah, head of the department of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare of the province, Trend reports via IRNA.

He said that fuel, saffron, tomatoes, various canned goods, metal and building stones were mainly exported.

He added that the products were mainly exported to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Russia and Spain.

There are 6,940 cooperative companies in Razavi Khorasan province. These companies employ 114,000 people.
