Turkmenistan cooperates with Chinese companies for production of computers

Turkmenistan’s Agzybirlik Tilsimaty company, established by the Turkmen Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, has set up production of computer equipment in the country in cooperation with China’s Hengsheng Lianhua Investment Management Co. Ltd. and TongFang Hongkong Limited, Trend reports referring to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

The production of children's educational computers has already been established, and 80,000 units have been produced this year. The software installed into the computers performs 198 different educational functions in three languages - Turkmen, Russian and English.

In addition, Agzybirlik Tilsimaty is working on the production of prototypes of laptops, tablets, monoblock computers, PCs and even such complex specialized software systems as servers. The first batch of PCs is planned to be released under its own brand by the end of this year.

Experimental delivery will be approximately for 3,000 computers. The enterprise has an annual production capacity of 500,000 computers. Turkmen-branded computers are expected to be sent to nearby countries. The Turkmen enterprise has also established partnership with Microsoft and Intel.

"Access to the market, where there is such fierce competition, will be facilitated by the affordable price of Turkmen electronic equipment with its certainly high quality. Today, it is the most attractive price for consumers in the region," the article reads.
