Uzbekistan’s BENKAM aluminum company will introduce three new automatic direct extrusion presses to increase exports and meet the market demand, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.
In 2020, BENKAM plans to increase the production and supply capacity of aluminum profiles for various purposes up to 55,000 tons of finished products. The maximum output in 2019 has amounted to 36,000 tons. The performance for next year will increase with the introduction of new equipment that produces aluminum profiles and processes them.
The plant has three high-performance direct extrusion presses with a pressure force of 1,000, 2,000 and 4,000 tons from Italy and South Korea. They meet all safety requirements and are equipped with an automatic control system that allows you to speed up the process, as well as provide the best quality.
The new extruders from SKM (South Korea) include two presses with a pressure force of 2,000 tons with a throughput diameter of an aluminum column of 7 inches that are capable to produce 20 tons of finished products per day, and one press with a capacity of 1,000 tons with a diameter of an aluminum column of 5 inches with a capacity of 11 tons per day.
Three presses will make it possible to produce an additional volume of aluminum profiles for use in interiors, window and facade systems, automotive, energy, construction of residential and commercial complexes, and many other fields.
Production on this equipment provides the market with a high-quality product, which allows developing the country's industry and export potential at a significant pace. BENKAM operates according to international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. It manufactures and exports aluminum profiles to the countries of Central Asia and the European Union, as well as to Russia, the USA and Canada.
