Kazakhstan’s trade turnover with other Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries amounted to $529.1 million in October 2019, which is 7.3 percent more compared to the same month of 2018, Trend reports with reference to the data of Eurasian Economic Committee.
Thus, according to the report, Kazakhstan’s trade turnover with other EAEU countries amounted to $16.6 billion during 10 months of 2019, which is 0.3 percent more than during the same period of last year.
This is including import worth $11.7 billion (increase by 1.3 percent) and export worth $4.9 billion (decrease by 1.8 percent).
Russia leads by value of trade turnover with Kazakhstan in the structure of total trade turnover with EAEU countries (92.3 percent in the total share). Four percent account for Kyrgyzstan and 3.6 percent account for Belarus.
In turn, Kazakhstan’s trade turnover with countries outside EAEU amounted to $6.8 billion in October 2019, which is 4.4 percent less than during the reporting month in 2018.
This is including import worth $2.3 billion (increase by 14.2 percent) and export worth $4.5 billion (decrease by 12 percent).
In turn, Kazakhstan’s trade turnover outside EAEU during 10 months of 2019 amounted to $62.4 billion, which is 1.5 percent more compared to the same period of last year.
The value includes import worth $19.7 billion (increase by 20.6 percent) and export worth $42.7 billion (decrease by 5.4 percent).
The Eurasian Economic Union is an international organization for regional economic integration. It has international legal personality and is established by the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.
