Uzbekistan intends to build agricultural plant in Tajikistan

Uzbekistan’s "Progress business industry" company intends to enter the Tajik market, Trend reports citing the Uzbek media.
The company intends to build a plant for the production of vegetable oil in Tajik Sughd region.
Plans for opening the plant were discussed at a meeting of the head of the company, Shukhrat Toshev, with the governor of the Sughd region, Rajabboy Ahmadzoda.
Both sides expressed interest in developing relations.
"Progress businessindustry" company is one of the leading enterprises in Uzbekistan. The plant for the production of sunflower oil is located in the Tashkent region. The company's products are mainly distributed in the domestic market, as well as in Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.
